What will the iPad cost outside of the US?
One thing I am wondering is how much the iPad will cost in New Zealand and other countries, other then the US. I know it will be between $700 and $800-ish NZD for the base model. I guess I will just have to wait a bit longer.

1 month till iPad
So it’s about 1 month till the iPad comes out and I’m still going to get one. So there hasn’t really been much more said by Apple about the product, but there is still time for more to come out. I might start up a countdown till launch.

Could there by more to the iPad?
When the iPad was announced some people were disappointed, I was not one of these people but some other people were. One thing I keep asking myself is, “Is there more to the iPad?”, after all it is still one and half months till release and a lot can be done in that time. Sure enough there have been rumours of the iPad still going to have a camera and a newer software will ship on the device at launch. So will there be something new added? I personally hope so. I will probably buy it anyway, but some more features would make it even more compelling. Who knows, multi-tasking could even be added. One thing I would say to the people that are hating the iPad because its missing something, there may be more to come so just wait, then you can hate on it like Microsoft fanboys do. As for Flash support, the iPad is probably going to get wings and a cup holder before anything like Flash ever makes it to the device.

Why multi-tasking on the iPad doesn't matter, much.
A lot of people recently have been complaining about the fact that the new Apple iPad doesn’t have multi-tasking, but the fact of the matter is that the iPad does support multi-tasking, kinda. First of all multi-tasking would be nice but in most case I personal don’t really need it. I don’t seem to miss it on my iPod touch. So why is this? Well you see multi-tasking does work for the built in apps, e.g. I can listen to music while I surf the web, check email and even while running third party apps. Also I can still get push email while in another app. Another feature of the iPhone OS, you know what the iPad runs, is push notifications. This lets third party apps notify me about something. Tap Tap Revenge 3 supports push notifications and so I get messengers that pop up telling me about new songs that have been added and stuff like that. Some IM apps also support push notifications but I can’t seem to find one that is really good. There are only a few apps that I wish would run in the background and one of these is Skype. I am so used for it running in the background on the computer and wish it would on the iPhone OS. It would turn the iPod touch into a rather useful phone like device. Skype is really the only third party app that I want to run in the background, at the moment. So really the whole can’t run apps in background thing isn’t such a big deal. Yet anyway.

html 5 is on safari on the ipad so it can play “some” flash items on the ipad/iphone (on the new iphone os)

Well it can’t play flash as such. It can play HTML 5 video but more video is still flash.

i personally dont want a camera on the ipad, you cant walk around in public waving around a camera in peoples face (in such a big device there is no need for it) and if it is at the front then it will only be good for skype (and thats a third party app) so i doubt it will be there just for a third party app my point is that Steve jobs did the right thing to take away a camera because of the issues that occur (plus it saves money and thats good)
